I have a couple that I need to get:

1. in memory of my friend, but I'm still trying to figure out what would be best;

2. my sisters and I are all going to get something for my dad, twenty years later... that should happen next time I go back to WNY

Hey Amy,

I always enjoy hearing from you, and thanks for sharing not only what you're working on but what you are consuming, as well as some tips.

I recently finished Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow and it was such a great story. I also had the chance to attend a luncheon with Gabrielle Zevin while in the middle of the book. It was very cool to hear an author speak about their work and what they were going through while writing it, in the middle of reading that book.

Have fun at SW Celebration! I hope it comes back to Orlando soon so I can go.

Amy, always a delight to see your blog pop up in my inbox. Best of luck with your Star Wars Celebration, coming very soon! I've caught you in a couple of past Celebration panel streams, and you do such a good job. I have to say that after the Bad Batch finale, I'm not ashamed to say I'm heartbroken, and I'm betting I'm not alone. Oh, Tech.

My plan is to set an alarm for 'oh dark thirty' to catch the Bad Batch panel stream at Celebration - I'm betting it's going to be a hot one. Talk about cliff hangers! There had better be a season three and without such a long interval, is all I can say. In the meantime, I'm doing final revisions (via the trusted 'read out loud' method), on my latest Star Wars fanfic ("Emergence" on AO3, posting a chapter a day in case you might be interested). In my AU, the Batch is intact - so shall it ever be. I hope the goodness that has been BB S2 won't get lost in the final chapters of Mando S3 (good as it's been). Looking forward to streaming as much of Celebration as I can... safe travels! Phyllis

Yup, should be a good one. BTW, I think it was your rec that got me onto "Legends and Lattes" by Travis Baldree - which was excellent! Just found out that he lives in my city now (Spokane, WA), so hope I run across him at some point - seems like a really nice guy from the webinar I saw recently. Ya never know!
