I’ll volunteer to be a beta reader. I know it really helped me to get feedback on my WIP.

Lawn tip: NC soil seeds best in the spring and/or fall.

If you need a beta reader, I'm interested. I read a lot.

The Ocean at the End of the Lane was the first Neil Gaiman book I read and I loved it, I didn't know there was a play based on that, but that sounds very cool. I also hope to make it to Star Wars Celebration one day, probably when it's back in Orlando

Hi Amy - I'd be interested to join your corps of beta readers for your MG WIP. In addition to being a reader of MG and YA, I've done a fair bit of editing work as an academic for quite a few years prior to retirement, and am well acquainted with giving detailed notes both on close reads and at the '40,000 foot level.' I'll be looking forward to hearing more about your adventures in your yard as well - I am hoping to gradually transition some of mine into native plants more suited to our increasingly hot summers. Onward! Phyllis

Hi! I love that Tolkien quote, and I like the thought of being a still-connected hobbit. It was great to meet you at Celebration. Thank you for the nice message you put within my copy of Empire Strikes Back From A Certain POV ("be the spark!"), and for taking my USB. Like I said on twitter it was so great to see you on so many panels - the Clone Wars one has to be a favourite, but really they were all so good. Beta reading one of your books sounds very exciting; I'd love to. Middle grade fantasy sounds right up my street! That was all I would read growing up, as well as Star Wars. I have some experience with editing my own and my father's books, less on the professional feedback side but would be so thankful for the opportunity. The latest novel I wrote was about 60,000 words too.
