Hi Amy, I hear you about treating writing like a part time job. I struggle with this myself, but like you said, putting aside a regular time to write is what also helps me stay on track! I’ve enjoyed reading your IP books so my fingers are crossed for you and your latest book. Can’t wait to hear more about it!

You are crushing it. Of all the things I'm most terrible at, it's setting aside time for writing.

Hi Amy – sounds like your New Year is off to a good start! Here’s my contribution to your possible happiness – 2 books that of late have made me laugh out loud (and not just a snort or a chortle – I’m talking serious prolonged laughs):

“Jeeves and the Leap of Faith,” by Ben Schott (I happily scored a digital ARC for this one; the author is clearly a psychic who can channel PG Wodehouse with ease). His first Jeeves book is already out – “Jeeves and the King of Clubs”, which is up soon on my reading list.

“Battle Royal,” by Lucy Parker – rom com that mixes laugh out loud content with some more serious themes about family, loss, and triumphing.

…and I’m not giving the Last of Us a look, despite much inclination to watch Pedro Pascal in most anything. I’ve never been into horror, so that makes it a relatively easy decision (especially with Space Dad Mando Season 3 action just around the corner). Cheerio! Phyllis
