I'm with you on fall weather - I want sweater weather, not more sweating weather. Up here in eastern WA we're back in the upper 90's. This is Not Right. But what is right is this book series I've been reading...so here's a rec: the Dragon and Gargoyle series by Lisa Barry and Nicole DragonBeck. Snarky paranormal cop buddies in Ireland dealing with fae, hags, and other unearthly creatures with a dash of romance and lots of humor. Enjoy!
Love the moments you shared - so excited to see the cover and MAP for Thrill Ride! There's been many moments lately that I'm grateful for, mainly from a new friend. But my world at the moment is looking tropically Cornish - I'm on the Isles of Scilly. The freedom of running across the headlands, having stretching white sand beaches to myself, making a fish friend snorkeling, riding like a surfer on a tractor's back platform thing with the luggage, and most recently getting the closest I've been to a wild seal - they came to see me on the edge of the beach and I could properly make out their face, hear their snorting and then watched as two more came and rolled around on their backs.
So excited for "Thrill Ride”… I pre-ordered my copy today!
